- Since I can't see the association between 'W' and the action 'close'
- (schliessen, fermer, sluiten) and since it is common practice to use
- CTRL U (no obvious link either), I would like to leave it at CTRL U.

- Common practice is CTRL W (meaningfull in german and dutch), and would add:
- Shift CTRL W - Previous Window

- I presume you mean *mark* block stert/end, than I would add:
- Shift CTRL [ - goto block start
- Shift CTRL ] - goto block end

- Traditionally <return> (or <enter>) have been used to select the default
- object (button). I can't see any good reason to change that, but I can see
- that it would be very confusing to anyone who ever used a GEM application.

- I don't think it's a good idea to have ALT combinations in the standard.
- Some software (eg. terminal emulators) can't use CTRL combinations for
- menue shortcuts, and could use ALT instead of CTRL.
